No. I don’t want a boyfriend who’s gonna give me his sweater when I’m cold. He’d freeze his ass off. No. I don’t want a boyfriend who will pay for everything I want. That’s what my job’s for. No. I don’t want a boyfriend who calls me at 4am telling me he misses me. I’m sleeping, and he probably wants to be too. No. I don’t want a boyfriend who is going to drop every corny line in the book. I just want someone sincere and truthful. I don’t want your fairy-tale boyfriend who will sweep me off my feet. I just want a boyfriend who loves me for me, for every mistake and scar.
Ladies, if he protects you, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually, then keep him. Even if sometimes he may over react or get jealous, accept him caring. If he sees you walking through a crowd, and his face lights up because you’re the only one in it, love him. Even if he isn’t the most romantic, the best looking, a singer, or a dancer, accept his awareness. If he goes out of his way to make you smile, and make you feel beautiful, then adore him. Even if he hasn’t kept every promise, remember he isn’t perfect, love him for trying. If he looks at you with love and not lust, and he longs to touch you, but he never forces his desires upon your comfort, then cherish him. Even if sometimes he may not express his love for you like the way you would prefer, appreciate him, because trust me he loves you more than you know. <3
